Katie Bolner & Gregg Allen made their first restaurant investment in 2008, backing the original Whiskey Cake in Dallas. It was less of a financial decision than a personal one. They both love restaurants. They love the people who run them, the craft involved in doing it well, and what a great meal means to the people sitting at the table.
That first investment led to more. Then more still. Over seventeen years, Salt and Thyme has grown into a portfolio that spans some of the most respected names in Texas dining and beyond.
